Meet The Team
Lead Pastor
Lori Burchell
Lori Burchell has served on staff at CLC for the past decade. Roles in which she has served during that time are Executive Pastor, Interim Lead Pastor and now Lead Pastor. She began attending CLC in 2001 and started volunteering in the Production Department soon after. Leaving her position of 16 years as the Director of Partner Relations for an international Christian television network, Lori formally came on staff of CLC in June of 2012.

Raised in a family of ministers, missionaries and musicians, Lori has been singing in church since she was four years old and began leading worship and teaching Sunday School while still a teenager.

In addition to ministering at CLC, Lori has also had the privilege to fill the pulpit as a guest speaker in other churches and speak at other events including:
-
Assemblies of God National Chaplain’s Conference
-
Women in Ministry Conference
-
Worship Conferences
-
Christian Television Appearances
Pastor Lori has also organized several community worship services, including the multi-cultural, “Unity in Worship” events held at CLC and the National Day of Prayer community event.

She understands the power of worship and what happens when people experience the presence of God, especially during corporate worship times.

Lori’s heart’s cry is that of the Apostle Paul’s:
“For my determined purpose is that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly]…” (Philippians 3:10 emphasis mine)

“I want to move past just knowing about God and truly know Him in a more intimate way…to feel His heartbeat for our church, our neighborhood, our community! Our hope and desire is that when individuals walk through our doors, that they will encounter the Presence of God and have a genuine, life-changing experience with Christ.”

Lori and her husband Mike have five grown children between them, six beautiful grandchildren AND a high-energy pup named, Coffee! Lori’s hobbies include reading, walking, listening to worship music and enjoying an amazing cup of coffee - especially with friends!!

Youth Director
Brian Harvey
Brian and his wife, Jaime have a passion for the younger generation, especially because they have a young daughter. They want to create a space where young people can have fun, build friendships, and strengthen their relationship with Jesus.
The challenges that young people face in today's ever-changing world are significant. The Ignite Life Youth ministry gives us the opportunity to support the youth and tackle these challenges together.
With the guidance of God's Word and the Holy Spirit, we believe we can navigate this world by following the example of love shown to us by Jesus.
Brian is also eager to work alongside parents to help the students grow in their relationship with Christ, so they can be well-prepared to follow Him into adulthood.

Communication is the key to any successful relationship. It's the key to our mission of Bringing the Message of Christ to those we don't know and developing those who believe.

Veterans Ministries Director
Mike Burchell
The CLC Veterans Ministry was founded in January 2022 by Marine Veteran Mike Burchell, who saw the need in our church and community for a faith-based program to minister to veterans. Using REBOOT RECOVERY's 12-week curriculum and through the power of the Holy Spirit, CLC has seen many veterans start the journey of healing from trauma.
