Prayer
CLC recognizes the importance and power of prayer. We believe the Word where it says:
“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” (James 5:16) Here are some of the ways we are providing opportunities for our church body to participate in prayer together:
Currently, our regular prayer and worship meetings are twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
In addition to that, at the beginning of each New Year, we want to be intentional about seeking God’s heart and focusing our attention on Him. At this time, we call a time to fast and pray.
Not only do we pray inside the building, but we also believe in taking our prayer ministry outside the four walls of the church, through what we call Prayer-in-Action. We walk the streets of our neighborhood and community praying for individuals, families, businesses, and our city government.
We have a group that prays specifically for our children and youth. We also have a group of intercessors who have committed to pray for the prayer requests that come into the church during the week. And our Altar Team is available to pray at the end of every service.
