Come for a night of laughter and fun. Tim & Jessie McMeen and team will be hosting an Improv Night of Comedy in the Community Room for your enjoyment. The event is free, but a suggested donation of $8/adults and $4/kids is encouraged and appreciated. There will be concessions with snacks available for purchase. Childcare will be available if needed. All proceeds will go towards Jessie's trip to Kenya, Africa, to teach and serve at Deaf Child Hope International. Please register for the show in the back of the sanctuary.
Join us at Jamie & Stephen Follis' home - 1501 Matthew Lane in Marion. We will be celebrating our incoming 6th graders, our current students and our graduates. We will be swimming, eating and enjoying the beginning of summer together! So bring a towel and come ready to have fun!
IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR THE HERRIN FESTA PARADE! May 26th! CLC will again have an entry in this year’s parade. If you are interested in being a part of building or decorating the float, or marching in the parade, please see Lori Burchell. We need candy! Please bring individually packaged candy by Thursday, May 24, 4pm. At 7:15 pm we will be bagging candy.
CLC is partnering with The Loft in a day of fun, fellowship and outreach to our community. That evening, we will come together for a celebration service at the city park at 5 pm. We will also offer childcare up to age five while parents are serving. It will be available from 9 am until 4:30 pm at the church. Please bring a sack lunch with drink and their naptime necessities. Please contact the office by Thursday if you will need childcare.
We will serve breakfast beginning at 8:15 am. Immediately following breakfast, we will have Ask The Elder in the Community Room. Pick up a card at the Welcome Center, write your question and name on it, then place it in the tithe box at the back of the sanctuary. During the service we will offer baby dedications and water baptism. See Pastor Adam or Lori Burchell if you would like to be baptized or have your child dedicated.
All proceeds of our Trivia Night fundraiser will benefit Ignite Youth Ministries Youth America Summer Camp. There will be unlimited snacks and drinks. $100 per table of 8. Childcare provided; $5 per child or $10 per family. See Tirzah Bourque to reserve your table or for more infomation.
