The drywall finishers are done in the youth building, so we are ready to paint and need your help! Work nights are planned for every Tuesday and Thursday, 5 - 9 pm and Saturdays, 8 am - noon. Meals are provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm. If you have any questions or wuld like to volunteer, please see Kate Collins or Joel Youngblood.
Come out for the Bow Hunt at Sundance Lake. You can bring a tent or sleep in the barn. We will have stands available or you can bring your own. Not a hunter? On Sunday, October 28th at 10 am, John & Bethany Baker will be in service with us. John & Bethany are former CLC members who have been serving in full-time, pastoral ministry the last 26 years in the state of Michigan. Last year, they received an invitation to serve as Missionaries to the island of Curacao, which was supernaturally confirmed by three different prophetic words in three different countries. They will be sharing briefly about their missions work but will also be ministering the Word in our current series, “Empowered.”
NEW LOCATION! This years retreat will be at the Southern Illinois Church of God Campground in West Frankfort. Cost is $20 per person. This year’s speakers are Jessie McMeen, Lauren Arnett and Margie Frost. Sign ups will be in the back of the sanctuary with Sunday, October 21st being the last day to reserve your spot.
