IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR THE HERRIN FESTA PARADE! May 26th! CLC will again have an entry in this year’s parade. If you are interested in being a part of building or decorating the float, or marching in the parade, please see Lori Burchell. We need candy! Please bring individually packaged candy by Thursday, May 24, 4pm. At 7:15 pm we will be bagging candy.
Save the Date! VBS will be here soon! See Julie McSwain to join in the fun of serving our local church and community at VBS! Forms are available at the Welcome Center or contact Julie for more information. Register your kids in the Check-In area this Sunday or next Sunday and they will receive a free prize! You can also register online. The pre-registration deadline is Friday, June 1. Pre-register for a chance to win an Ultimate VBS Prize Pack for your child.
CLC is partnering with The Loft in a day of fun, fellowship and outreach to our community. That evening, we will come together for a celebration service at the city park at 5 pm. We will also offer childcare up to age five while parents are serving. It will be available from 9 am until 4:30 pm at the church. Please bring a sack lunch with drink and their naptime necessities. Please contact the office by Thursday if you will need childcare.
We will serve breakfast beginning at 8:15 am. Immediately following breakfast, we will have Ask The Elder in the Community Room. Pick up a card at the Welcome Center, write your question and name on it, then place it in the tithe box at the back of the sanctuary. During the service we will offer baby dedications and water baptism. See Pastor Adam or Lori Burchell if you would like to be baptized or have your child dedicated.
All proceeds of our Trivia Night fundraiser will benefit Ignite Youth Ministries Youth America Summer Camp. There will be unlimited snacks and drinks. $100 per table of 8. Childcare provided; $5 per child or $10 per family. See Tirzah Bourque to reserve your table or for more infomation.
Youth America is coming up in July. It is time to start preparing. Sunday, March 4, 10 minutes after service ends we will have a "short" informational meeting to discuss what is Youth America, when we will be going, what to expect, fundraisers, and more. This is for all who have any interest in possibly attending. No commitment is required at this time. See Tirzah Bourque, Youth Director, if you have any questions or need additional information.
The Lock-In has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 16th - 6pm to Saturday, Feb. 17th - 7am. This is for all Ignite Life middle school and high school students. The cost is $15 at the door. Come for bowling, skating, games, devotion, food galore and much more! Bring a friend and be ready for an intense night of fun!! Permission forms must be filled out. We will have a playlist of songs about love for class this Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 6pm. Wear red, pink, or hearts, and stay to enjoy a sweet treat afterwards. Starting Sunday Feb. 11th - Alpha is a great opportunity for students to invite their friends to explore what they believe. Parents, this is also an opportunity for you to share with friends and co-workers who have students, 6th - 12th grade. Dinner will be served.
