All young mothers and their children are invited to come celebrate Mother’s Day together in the Ignite Life Youth Center. There will be refreshments, a craft and games. Please see Miquelie Davis for more information.
Watoto Children’s Choir will be returning to CLC on April 23rd at 7 pm, performing brand new music from their latest album, “We Will Go.” We encourage you to begin to invite friends and family to this evening of music and inspiration from these amazing kids!
Be sure to make plans to join us on Resurrection Sunday 2019 as we finish our series, Raise a Hallelujah with the theme: Light Overcame Darkness. If you know of individuals struggling in a dark place in their lives, whether through grief, depression or simply questioning God, we encourage you to invite them. We are in expectation for freedom and deliverance this morning as we look to the finished work of the Cross when Light Overcame Darkness.
Starting April 4, Thursdays at 6pm at CLC, we are switching to this low impact - high intensity format that is kind to your body. We’ll focus on balance, strength, flexibility and mobility. All ladies are invited. See REFIT Southern Illinois on Facebook for complete details.
Sunday, March 31st will be our Family Service. We will serve a full breakfast starting at 8:15 am. During the service, we will offer baby dedications and water baptisms. We will also observe Communion. See Pastor Adam Ward or Pastor Lori Burchell if you would like to be baptized or have your child dedicated.
Our Kid’s Life children are raising funds to purchase school supplies for the children at the Boweh school in Liberia, Africa. Refrigerator Art, created by our kids, will be on display at the Welcome Center on Sunday, March 3, and can be yours for a donation.
Our friend, Jonathan Baldwin from the International House of Prayer of Kansas City, MO will be leading worship. Immediately following service, we will have a “meet and greet” time for people to personally talk to Jonathan about his ministry. Light refreshments will be served.
