I would like to begin by saying “Thank You!” for seeking an opportunity to serve the Christian Life Church family as a staff member. It is both our commitment and our responsibility to God to provide a safe environment for our members and visitors. There are several key components to insure we meet our objectives but none more important than the safety of our children. Inasmuch as the position of Lead Pastor will place you in environments where children are present, we ask that each applicant fill out an application, which empowers CLC to conduct background checks. This application will be asking some very personal and private questions. It is our intention to find out critical information about applicants before placing adults in the proximity of children and youth.
The information contained in this application will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect. Whether or not you are a person who must answer affirmatively to any of the questions on the following pages, please be assured that an affirmative answer DOES NOT automatically prevent you from serving on staff. This application is to be completed by all applicants for any position (volunteer or compensated) involving interaction with minors. As examples, the elders of Christian Life Church have all filled out the same paperwork as you are being asked to complete.
