2010 Challenge - So far, 28 of you have responded to the 2010 Challenge and committed to give $52,379 towards our debt reduction by years end.  If you have not responded yet to the Challenge, please fill out the commitment card and drop it in the offering plate or bring it to the office.  If you have responded, make sure to include "2010 Challenge" on the memo of your check so the contribution will be credited appropriately to debt reduction.

How can you help for VBS?  We're glad you asked!  We need small-to-medium stuffed animals that we will use as prizes.  If everyone purchased one or two animals, we'd have plenty.  We especially want woodland critters:  rabbits, birds, frogs.  Leave them by the Children's Church anytime.  Thanks for helping.

Here's an opportunity for you to serve at CLC - We need people to sit at the check-in desk on Sunday mornings to receive the children as they go to Sunday School and Children's Church.  Please see Pam Pavloff.

Keith 28/28/28 - Twenty-eight years ago on July 28th, 1982, Keith Green, at 28 years old, was tragically killed in a plane crash.  His ministry on earth lasted only 7 years but his passion for God and his message lives on through his legacy of music.  On Wednesday, July 28th, those adults not involved in VBS are invited to join together in the office Conference Room to join in a live web stream event with Melody Green, John Dawson, and Loren & Darlene Cunningham.  The event STARTS at 6:30 pm but individuals are welcome to come and go as their schedules allow.  The goal of the event is to reignite the passion for Christ among those who were and continue to be impacted by Keith's ministry.

Hope Clinic Prayer Walk - Help stop abortion!  Saturday, July 31st, we will leave for the Hope Abortion Clinic at 5:45 am.  Please RSVP to the office by Wednesday, July 28th, 4:00 pm if you are planning to attend.  Everyone is invited to participate in this peaceful prayer walk.
