Lighthouse Shelter - Twice each month, men and women, under the leadership of Barbara Munson provide meals for those in the Lighthouse Homeless Shelter in Marion, Illinois. For more information, contact Barb at: strawberrymom@hughes.net

Facilities Team - Dave Munson is our Administrative Service Director and heads up a team that provides maintenance and care to our facilities. If you can paint, fix, mow, landscape, clean or otherwise take care of the church's facilities, contact Dave at: davengl@hughes.net

"Serving is a Joy" is the team of men and women who meet together twice each month to provide a wonderful hot-cooked meal to the Wednesday night congregation. If you like to cook and serve, contact Cheryl Fitzgerald at the church office email: clcherrin@verizon.net

Intercessory Prayer - Twice each month the intercessory prayer participants from the church gather to pray corporately for the needs of the church. Scott Chrestman is the CLC Prayer Ministry Director. If you would like more information, contact Scott at: crest9@verizon.net

Short-term Missions - CLC and its members regularly participate in various short-term mission trips. In the past several years, members have traveled to numerous sites inside the US and over two dozen countries abroad. We sent multiple teams to the Gulf Coast in the wake of Katrina, have served the Navajo in New Mexico, the Lakota Sioux in South Dakota, and the inner cities of Chicago, New Orleans, etc. If you are interested in participating in one of these trips, keep checking the website for the next available mission trip information. Hope Abortion Clinic Prayer Walks - Every six weeks, CLC takes a group to Granite City Illinois to walk and pray for the girls going in, for the doctors, and for our legislators. We pray that abortion will be eradicated from our land and that the unborn will get a chance to draw their first breath. While not engaging in condemnation nor judgmental attitudes, we feel it is our God-given call to raise up a voice for the unborn.

Event Teams - CLC hosts multiple annual events for our members which include a Sweetheart Banquet, Mother / Daughter Banquet, Father Son Campout, Summer Picnic, Fall Harvest Party, Back to School Bash, Christmas Basket Distribution, etc. Additionally, there are multiple evangelistic outreach events to our local festivals and national festivals, such as Mardi gras in New Orleans.
