CLC presented the Christmas Story in 2007 in a way never before seen in Southern Illinois. We incorporated aerialists, tumblers, strobes, lasers, dancers, and special effects to present the timeless story of the Nativity in a most creative way. Our church is at its best when we use 21st century techniques to present the timeless truths of the scriptures. The play is entitled “Imagine Christmas” and utilized many artistic techniques found only in presentations such as Cirque Du Soleil. Angels "flew" above the audience and an aerialist performed interpretive dance moves while suspended on silk above the stage. All performed to music played in 5.1 surround sound.
